Calling all Children and Youth

Ontario Conference is looking to highlight the ministry of children and youth (ages 6-17) for the upcoming launch of its children’s evangelism initiative, Walking and Working with Jesus. This event will be hosted on Sabbath, January 30, 2021, from 5 to 6 pm on Ontario Conference’s YouTube and Facebook channels as well as on our website.

Specifically, we would like videos of children:

  • Singing or playing an instrument (lead instrument and accompaniment must be performed by individuals if instrumental)
  • Preaching (no more than 3-minute excerpts)
  • Sharing testimonies of how they have witnessed to others using media (3 minutes max)

For music, please note that, due to copyright laws, we cannot accept videos including professional backing tracks. Rather, any background music must consist of a live band, pianist or other instrumental accompaniment.

We will include videos in the launch on a first come first serve basis, and as best fits the program’s needs.

Click here to access a mandatory release form. Note that we can only accept MP4s accompanied by this form.

You may upload your MP4s and complete your mandatory media release form directly using this link: https://www.dropbox.com/request/eT9QYHZBN308HTYXLgSf

Please label all videos with the young person’s first and last name and church.

The deadline is Wednesday, January 20, at 11:59 p.m. Due to the short timeline, we will not be able to consider anything sent after that.
Walking and Working with Jesus is a combined effort of the following departments of the Ontario Conference: Adventurer, Master Guide and Pathfinder Ministries, Children’s Ministries, Communications, Education, Family Ministries, Personal Ministries, Stewardship, and Youth.
